So far Sony Pictures, Harold Ramis, Dan Ackroyd and Ivan Reitman have already signed-off on the much revised Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky screenplay, and as of right now, the only thing keeping production at a stand still, is Bill Murray. And it should be noted that Bill Murray is one of the five rights holders to the 'Ghostbusters' franchise, so without him, this film doesn't happen. Here's what Eisenerg had to say: “Right now, we have a script we haven’t worked on probably in a couple of months, and we’re waiting for Bill Murray to read it.
