Bleeding Cool have posted an update to earlier story detailing a North Carolina comic store owner's boycotting of Grant Morrison's Action Comics #1 because of the below panel caused quite a stir here on CBM, with very strong opinions from all sides.
Now said owner of Comics Conspiracy has issued an apology.
First and foremost, I want to make a formal apology to Grant Morrison. I made a statement in anger after reading the issue in question after the store closed on Wednesday. Mr. Morrison, I most humbly apologize for calling you a “Scottish schmuck”, I was way out of line. This is a true heartfelt apology.
For right now though, I have to admit that the can of worms that has been opened is much larger than I ever dreamed it would be. But that’s OK. There are a lot of interesting views here mixed in among the hate. The bottom line Read more: |
