Despite phased in-development and a director yet to be attached, a plausible logline for Marvel Studios' forthcoming Guardians of the Galaxy adaptation has surfaced. Sourced via industry sites Production Weekly and It's On The Grid, the logline summarizes the interstellar superhero assembly's main concept, main character and conflict. And thanks to a heads up from SHH user Chewy, the logline says the anticipated movie is:
“About a U.S. pilot who ends up in space in the middle of a universal conflict and goes on the run with futuristic ex-cons who have something everyone wants.”
Considering the two separate sources are considerably legit industry sites, the logline above is more than likely what the film will be about. And for those who don't know, the U.S. pilot mentioned in the summary is likely Peter Quill, the Guardians' leader Star-Lord.
