Based on yesterday's report from our very own Alex Lynch this scene is most likely the critical moment when a bunch of paid goons approach and gundown Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman). The damage that he sustains during this altercation will lead to him becoming Robocop.
In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology.
