The original filming schedule for The Amazing Spider-Man called for 90 days and kicked off December 6th, 2010.
However, that 3-month shoot turned into a 6-month shoot, wrapping in mid-May 2011.
Inevitable reshoots occurred, kicking off in New York in November 2011 and finally wrapping in Los Angeles on December 2011.
Of course the heavily CGI'd Lizard and web-slinging scenes required editing and VFX treatment, meaning that the film was not officially complete until May 20, 2012.

Tallying all this up, it took 1 yr 5 months and 14 days to complete The Amazing Spider-Man once cameras started rolling. Sony began working on the script for the sequel before filming was even complete and has set May 02, 2014 for its release.
