When Henry Cavill was cast as Superman there was a bit of a furor in certain fan circles that a character seen as an American icon would be played by a Brit. Most people didn't have an issue with this but one thing that may have been a concern was how Cavill would fare with the accent.
Well speaking to Total Film the young actor explains how he prepared his voice for it, and reveals the initial reactions of those that have heard it..
"Doing an American accent is about exercising the muscles in your throat and your mouth. Sometimes it can sound great for a long period of time, sometimes your inflection is wrong. It all depends.
