"Oh, gosh. The first day I was out here, I was here from 11 to 6 p.m.," said Molly Miller, of Olmsted Falls. "I know that's a long time. But I'm waiting to see the explosions for 'The Avengers.'"
Miller is one of hundreds of fans hoping to capture part of an epic battle scene: explosions at the former Chevrolet Powertrain building in Parma.
"They got this big crane, and they have something rigged to it to where they have to bring it up in the air," said John Rusko of Parma.
A series of explosions errupted from a box lifted on the crane, shooting fireballs 30 feet in the air.
"It was amazing to see," said Joey Laumer of North Olmsted. "So it was really cool to see the equipment and what really Hollywood is all about. This is, so far, my favorite movie ever because I've been able to see the filming of Read more: |
