According to The Playlist both Wasikowska and Aggeliki are currently being looked at for the role of Johanna. Director Francis Lawrence is reportedly contemplating whether to cast a big name actor or a virtual unknown. With all the rumors surrounding the film's casting I would normally advocate exercising caution but the site was the first to report that Gary Ross wouldn’t be returning for a sequel. Wasikowska has previously been seen in Jane Eyre and The Kids Are All Right while Aggeliki has yet to appear in any feature roles. She does have choice roles in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds film R.I.P.D. and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, though.
