In the original Thor film, an epic battle memorably resulted in the destruction of the rainbow Bifrost bridge. And while that left many wonders for the anticipated sequel, one of the biggest is what role Heimdall, the gate keeper of Asgard, will have in the Alan Tayor-directed film. While not exactly answering that, the Asgardian's actor, Idris Elba, recently reassured us that he'll have an expanded role in Marvel's Thor: The Dark World.
“In the new film we're going to get to know Heimdall the Asgardian a bit better, and we're going to get to know Asgard a bit better. I can't say too much, but the expansion of Thor in his world is going to be huge.
