Jeffrey Dean Morgan Is Still Eager To Play Thomas Wayne's BATMAN In A FLASHPOINT Movie |

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a pretty prolific actor, having starred in hit TV shows and films such as Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Watchmen, and is currently menacing Rick and co. as Negan on AMC's The Walking Dead. It was therefore surprising when he was cast in such a small role as Bruce Wayne's father, Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Many chalked this casting up to Morgan being friends with Zack Snyder (who directed him in Watchmen). However, the actor later expressed his wishes to play an alternate form of Batman in a future film: Flashpoint Batman, specifically.
In the famous comic storyline, The Flash travels back in time to save his mother, and in doing so, rewrites history, with one of the changes being that Bruce Wayne died in Crime Alley instead of his parents, leading Thomas down the path to becoming a brutal, unforgiving Caped Crusader.
