| Jennifer Connelly To Re-Team With Darren Aronofsky For NOAH |

Just yesterday, we heard that Darren Aronofsky's Noah (based on the director's graphic novel, which adapts the classic Bible story of Noah's Ark) was slated for a March 2014 release by Paramount Pictures/New Regency. Now, The Tracking Board has learned that Jennifer Connelly - who previously worked with Aronofsky on his 2000 film Requiem For A Dream - is in talks for the female lead in the Biblical epic. If negotiations go well, Connelly will play Noah's wife, Naameh. Noah will be played by Russell Crowe. In addition, the studio is interested in casting Saoirse Ronan (who stars in the upcoming sci-fi film The Host) in a supporting role.
With production beginning in July, Noah is set to hit theaters March 28th, 2014. Below is a plot summary of the graphic novel:
