2017 is a big year for Marvel on Netflix, with three shows streaming instead of the usual two and The Defenders finally set to assemble. However, with The Punisher getting his own spinoff and more characters being added to this corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on a regular basis, does Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb think they're running the risk of superhero fatigue? Not really, according to EW.
"I don’t know that you’d be asking this question if we were a medical show or a law show or a cop show," he replied before taking a perhaps not so subtle shot at the DC TV Universe. "I think the other part that separates us from, let’s just say, our distinguished competition, is that we take place in a very real, grounded world. We’ve always said that there is a fifth Defender, and that is New York."
