Jeremy Irons Says THE BATMAN Starts Shooting Next Summer And Reflects On BATMAN v SUPERMAN Reviews |

Earlier this month, Deathstroke actor Joe Manganiello revealed that he begins shooting The Batman in the spring, and in a new interview with Variety, it seems like Jeremy Irons has further confirmed that the movie will begin production within the next six to nine months. That came up when the trade asked him if he's going to have a more significant role as Alfred in the upcoming Justice League.
"Similar, but then, of course, Ben’s going to make a Batman film next summer," Irons said in regards to how his role in the superhero ensemble with compare to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. "He promises me there’s going to be a bit more of Alfred in that. In the Justice League we have seven major lead characters and I’m the butler to one of them. It’s clear I will not be dominating that film."
