While we've already heard plenty of rumours surrounding the Spider-Man and True Blood star being in the running to play the Man of Steel in Zack Snyder's upcoming reboot, an even more reliable source has now reignited the speculation once again.
Via his Twitter account, Geoff Boucher of The Los Angeles Time Hero Complex (@LATherocomplex) left the following message.
As I said, we've already heard the same sort of thing about this guy a fair few times in the past. However, this latest one comes from the same guy who recently promised that big Batman news was coming, and revealed that Tom Hardy would be playing Bane and Anne Hathaway had been cast as Catwoman a little over 24 hours later. I think it's fair to say that this at least indicates the former Flash Thompson is being considered for the title role in the reboot. |
