Zack Snyder has stated that his two choices for Superman in his upcoming tale Man Of Steel was narrowed down to Henry Cavill and Joe Manganiello. Cavill ultimately won the part with Snyder saying that he had the qualities that he was looking for in his Superman, but did say that Manganiello was great. Manganiello, while talking with Aint it Cool News, says that the reason he is not Superman is because his schedule with True Blood just simply wouldn't allow it. He also said the popular TV show is the reason he was even considered for Man Of Steel. "Well, I mean, the thing about Superman was it... I mean, I know the right one is out there for me... there wasn’t anything I could do with Superman.
