There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the announcement that Mark Millar would be overseeing Fox's Marvel movie department. He will be in charge of making sure movies such as X-Men keep the momentum it has coming off of X-Men: First Class. He will also be looking to successfully reboot the Fantastic Four. Director Josh Trank will be tasked with bringing the movie to life. Millar said Trank's Chronicle was his favorite Superhero film last year, and is excited to see what he can bring to the table. "You can tell from Chronicle that it was a new way of looking at superheroes, and I think he’s going to apply that same slightly skewed way of looking at heroes to the Fantastic Four, but do it in a way that feels incredibly reverential to the Kirby and Lee stuff," said Millar.
