Although Twentieth Century Fox has no big announcements for this week's San Diego Comic-Con, the ever-reliable Deadline has obtained various updates surrounding the studios' Marvel property slate. The site has revealed finalized plans for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot, in addition to a setback for the Daredevil film.
Deadline suggests that, despite having many projects in the works, Chronicle director Josh Trank is in final negotiations to helm the Fantastic Four reboot next. Also, the film with an all-new cast is the next Marvel project on Fox's radar following The Wolverine and Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class sequel.
In regards to the Daredevil remake, the site further reports that David Slade has exited from the project, and Fox have been on the hunt for a new director since.
