Prometheus, The Art of the Film won't provide you with any of the answers which weren't included in Ridley Scott's film, but it does offer fans a fascinating insight into the creation of the sci-fi epic. The presentation of the book is fantastic; it comes bound in a wide hardcover which results in a very cinematic feel as you make your way through the stunning pieces of concept art and photographs. Featuring a foreword from the director, the book then segues into an in-depth retelling of how Prometheus (then known only as "Untitled Alien Prequel") went from no more than an idea to Scott's first science fiction film in over 30 years. There are also plenty of details on how production designer Arthur Max went about giving Prometheus a very different look to Alien in the early stages of pre-production, while maintaining a connection between the two.
