With Kevin Costner and Diane Lane set to portray Superman's earthbound parents In Zack Snyder's much-anticipated reboot, Man Of Steel, and actor Russell Crowe offered the role of his Kryptonian father, Jor-El, Superman's Kryptonian mother, Lara, is the last major role to fill. And according to Deadline, Snyder has found her in English actress Julia Ormond.
Warner Bros and Zack Snyder are in talks with Julia Ormond to play Superman's Kryptonian mother, Lara Lor-Van in Man of Steel. I expect the deal to make shortly.
Julia Ormond, 46, has appeared in Legends of the Fall, and most recent film credits include I Know Who Killed Me, Che and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
