Kevin Smith Believes Fans Should Appreciate All Comic Book Films, Says It's Easy To Be Negative |

Kevin Smith has had a few chances to play in the world of superheroes, from writing comic books to directing television shows based on them. However, the writer and director maintains that he is a fan first and foremost, something that was on full display during his New York Comic Con panel yesterday when he raved about Marvel's Luke Cage.
“It was f*cking good,” Smith said (via ComicBook.com). “I had no expectations of that and they told a much better story than I thought they would. I mean we live in a world were they are making a f*cking Ant-Man sequel. We didn't have this sh*t when I was growing up.”
