Earlier this week it was revealed that 24: The Movie had been put on hold. Numerous reasons were given (including budgetary concerns and Kiefer Sutherland's shooting schedule) but fans breathed a sigh of relief after it was revealed that 20th Century Fox would shoot next year instead, rather than scrapping it altogether. Appearing on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" recently, here's what the actor - who played Jack Bauer in eight seasons of the television drama - had to say about the delay.
"It's something that we've been working on. I think 24 ended two and a half/three years ago. Howard Gordon, who was the writer for 24, and a wonderful writer Billy Ray, we started working on the script and then it got to a point and another writer came in.
