Talk of a 24 movie has been going on since before the show was even cancelled. However, it finally seemed as if production would begin on a big screen version earlier this year. That was until Jack Bauer ended up coming face to face with an enemy worse than any terrorist: studio execs. Fox were said to be concerned with the budget, while Kiefer Sutherland was far from happy with the measly sum they were willing to pay him. Throw in the fact that he only had a limited time to shoot the film (due to working on new show, Touch) and fans of the series will now have to wait another year.
