Kurtwood Smith Gives An Update On BEWARE THE BATMAN |

While doing press for the blu-ray release of The Dead Poets Society actor Kurtwood Smith sat down with MovieWeb to talk about voicing Lieutenant James Gordon in the new animated TV series Beware The Batman. Smith said they have only recorded two episodes and reconfirmed that it is an early Batman story. He also said he doesn't expect for the series to be out for at least another year.

"We just started. We've only recorded two, before Christmas. I like the general thrust of the show. It's early in the Batman story. Commissioner Gordon isn't even Commissioner yet, he's just Lieutenant Gordon. He doesn't trust Batman, even though they kind of end up helping each other out on an early case.
