Ever since the trailer launch in August, we've been wondering "why are they here" and today, we finally get an answer as Denis Villeneuve's critically acclaimed sci-fi drama Arrival hits theaters worldwide.
The feature stars 5x Academy Award-nominee Amy Adams (Justice League) in the lead role Louise Banks, an expert linguist recruited by the military to help them greet and communicate with Earth's alien visitors to prevent an all-out global war. She's joined in her quest by 2x Academy Award-nominee Jeremy Renner (Avengers: Infinity War) as Ian Donnelly and Academy Award-winner Forest Whitaker (Black Panther) as Colonel Weber.
