If you haven't seen the trailer shown at SDCC 2011, here it is.
The Legend of Korra will be the sequel to the highly popular series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. The new show will take place 70 years after the series finale and will tell the story of Korra, a teenage girl from the Southern Water Tribe who has become the new Avatar. Korra has mastered Fire, Water and Earth, but has yet to learn Airbending. Her new mentor will be none other than Aang's own son, Tenzin, who inherited his father's ability to bend air.
