G.I. Joe was recieved very negativly during its 2009 summer release. Hardcore Joe fans did not take to the movie...at all. The movie barely broke even at the theaters and struggled with DVD and Blu-Ray sales. Sadly the movie will still be reciveing a sequel.
Now the Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the actor Lee Byung-Hun who played Storm Shadow will return for its sequel. Storm Shadow is the bitter rival of Snake Eyes, who was played by fan favorite Ray Park. There is no word on any of the other members of the cast returning.
G.I. Joe 2 will be aiming for a summer of 2012 release while filming will start this summer. The duo of Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the minds behind the hit Zombieland will be working on the script for the sequel. The film also has no dirctor. The director of |
