LOGAN Director James Mangold Believes Wolverine's Classic Costume Doesn't Make Sense On Film |

Ever since the very first X-Men film, comic book fans have been waiting in anticipation for the moment that Hugh Jackman would suit up in a comic-accurate costume as Wolverine. 17 years and eight (soon to be nine) films later, the classic yellow suit has remained unworn and pretty much unseen, appearing as the contents of a suitcase in a deleted scene from 2013's The Wolverine. While some fans are still holding out hope for some last-minute saving grace in Jackman's final film, Logan, director James Mangold recently told Screen Rant that he thinks the suit works against who Logan is as a character, and that he's convinced fans would not be happy if Jackman ever did wear it in a film.
