Marco Beltrami To Compose WORLD WAR Z And PARADISE LOST |

Recent reports suggest that Marco Beltrami - who's work on the scores for films such as The Hurt Locker and Blade II - has signed on to compose the score for the horror thriller World War Z, based on the novel of the same name. The film is about a UN Employee (played by Brad Pitt) who interviews survivors of a zombie epidemic that took place ten years before. Beltrami is also attached to score Alex Proyas' Paradise Lost, based on John Milton's epic poem about the fall of Lucifer. Legendary Pictures recently put Paradise Lost on hold due to budgetary issues, but the film is still set to begin production next year. Beltrami previously worked with director Proyas on the films I, Robot and Knowing.
