Mark Romanek Takes Himself Off The List Of Directors In The Running For The Wolverine! |

After Oscar nominated director Darren Aronofsky walked away from The Wolverine back in March, Fox have been hunting for another filmmaker to take his place in bringing the popular mutant to the big screen. While a recent shortlist contained names like Justin Lin and Doug Liman (to name just a couple) one of those on the list has now taken themselves out of the running in a recent interview with Digital Spy.
"That's just one of those stories that floated around. I was on their list, I received the script months ago. It didn't seem like my kind of thing."
"That script was a terrific version of that kind of thing, but not something I felt really passionate about."
