The first season of HBO's Game Of Thrones opened with a glimpse of "The White Walkers", and closed with a trio of newly hatched Dragons. But had you just switched on to the show anywhere in between, you would be forgiven for thinking you were watching a standard medieval drama series. Because although the story is set in the mythical land of Westeros and is very much part of the Fantasy genre, aside from those elements I mentioned we don't really see many magical or supernatural goings on in the first season. Well, we most certainly do in season two.
