MOONLIGHT Actress Naomie Harris Joins Dwayne The Rock Johnson In Video Game Adaptation RAMPAGE |

On the heels of the news that Naomie Harris (28 Days Later, Skyfall) has been nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role in Moonlight, THR reports that the British actress has now signed on to play the female lead in New Line and director Brad Peyton's '80s video game adaptation, Rampage.
Though the name of Harris' character is not revealed, we do know she'll be playing "a geneticist with a moral streak."
The trade also provides some plot details:
"Like the video game, the film will feature three creatures - a monstrously transformed gorilla, crocodile and wolf - who wreak havoc on North American cities and landmarks. Johnson is, naturally, an animal-loving hero who is the world’s only hope."
