Netflix's SENSE8 Returns With The First Trailer For The 2-Hour Christmas Special |

In 2015, The Wachowski sisters (The Matrix Trilogy) took over Netflix with their latest project, Sense8. A show about eight individuals from around the world that are psychically connected, and can share their abilities with one another. Now, the first official trailer for the show's 2-hour Christmas Special has been released, and it features the return of the show's eight protagonists and the troubles their cluster faces during the holiday season.
Fans of the show might notice something different as they watch the latest trailer below, and that is that one of the main eight, Capheus, previously played by Aml Ameen, has now been recast due to "creative differences" with Ameen. Actor Toby Onwumere will now be portraying Capheus throughout the Christmas Special and Season 2.
Along with the trailer for the Christmas Special, Lana Wachowski has a message for fans of the show. She explains why she felt the need to make a holiday special for Sense8, and what it means to her.
