New POWER RANGERS Movie Website Launches With Updated Synopsis, Character Bios, New Stills |

The highly anticipated Power Rangers trailer had a monumental launch yesterday and quickly became one of the most viewed trailers of the year!
Following their New York Comic-Con panel yesterday, Lionsgate launched the official movie website, and revealed an updated synopsis for the Dean Israelite-directed film and a ton of cool new stills of the principal cast, which consists of Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Ludi Lin, & Becky Gomez. Production notes were also released to coincide with the launch and revealed new character biographies for each Ranger that shed some light on their personalities as well as on the personal demons they'll be dealing with before becoming super-powered heroes.
In addition to the five young stars, the film will also feature Elizabeth Banks (Spider-Man) as the villainous witch Rita Repulsa, Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) as the Rangers' wise mentor Zordon, and Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live) as the Rangers' robot assistant Alpha 5.
