New Shocking Character Details for NBC's Remake of THE MUNSTERS |

Bloody Disgusting has learned that the new remake of The Munsters will hardly resemble the original 1964 version that starred Fred Gwynne. That version was a light hearted comedy that focused on friendly monsters who never quite understood why the rest of society found them so strange.
In the NBC remake the family will be eating flesh and suicide victims. They have Eddie as a full blown werewolf. The show will be dark, but there will also be a comedic touch. The show, according to Bloody Disgusting's source will resemble HBO's hit vampire show True Blood and ABC's zany family comedy, Modern Family.
