New ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN Featurette Teases Series Finale And A Giant Doctor Octopus |

Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man will be coming to an end this month after four seasons on air. The series was - without a doubt - a very different take on everyone's favourite wallcrawler. While most animated series featuring the character had him flying solo, Ultimate set the hero up as a S.H.I.E.L.D. trainee, leading a team of other teenage superheroes featuring Luke Cage, Nova, Iron Fist, and White Tiger.
The show wasn't exactly a hit with older members of Spidey's fanbase, but still made a lot of creatively bold choices such as making Mary Jane Watson into Carnage, adapting Dan Slott's Spider-verse storyline, changing the identities of many Spider-villains, and much much more. In a new featurette, the cast and crew of the series reflect on their time making the show, along with previewing the finale, which will see Spider-Man square off against the Sinister Six and their leader, Doctor Octopus, who will be transformed into....a giant octopus monster.
