Within the past several months, there have been reports that a script for apotential third X-Files film was in the works and, if I remember correctly, it's been none other than David Duchovny who has been dishing out the information regarding those "rumors. Now, the X-Files alum is talking more about the status of the rumored third film in the franchise.
“There is no deal at this point. It’s something I would do in a second and I know Chris [Carter] and Gillian [Anderson] would be interested. It’s really just a matter of generating interest in Fox, then getting a script and getting us all together.”
As you may remember, it took quite some time to get the second film into production. Add to that the lack of box office performance, taking in just under $21 million at the domestic box office, and one has to wonder if there is still any interest |
