After reviewers almost unanimously praised actor Andy Serkis for his motion capture role of Caesar in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, talk soon began about the actor being nominated for an Oscar. There are many, many sites out there who have found good reason for why exactly his performance deserves a nomination (or even a win) but one group of fans have taken it upon themselves to get the word out there with the "Oscar For Andy" campaign on Twitter and Facebook.
Having seen the movie twice since it was released, I don't think there can be any doubt that Serkis deserves some recognition for his work in terms of awards.
