Who is PARALLAX?
PARALLAX is a DC comics character that is the embodiment of fear, he is featured primarily in Green Lantern comic books. The PARALLAX identity was conceptualized by Ron Marz and Darryl Banks, and first appeared in Green Lantern #50. The entity concept was created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver and established its sentience in Green Lantern: Rebirth #1. (2005)

PARALLAX is a demonic parasitic entity old as time itself, being the embodiment of fear he travels from world to world and causing entire civilizations to destroy themselves out of paranoia.
PARALLAX was imprisoned by the Guardians of the Universe within the Central Power Battery on Oa. They used the green energy of willpower to overcome the yellow energy of fear generated by PARALLAX.
