POLL: Who Would You Like to See Direct the Next THOR Film? |

Fellow CBM Editor DCMarvelFreshman broke the news yesterday that Kenneth Branagh would not be returning to direct the next installment of THOR for Marvel Studios. The reason for his departure as director is irrelevant at this time and judging by the fact that he will still be involved with the film in some capacity, indicates to me that the decision was amicable as reported in the article. Branagh has mentioned in the past that he wasn't sure if he would be returning as director.
Now, while I loved what Branagh did with the THOR film, this is by no means "bad news" or "the end of the line" for the THOR franchise. There are more talented directors out there than you can shake a stick at and each one could bring their own "style" or "touch" to THOR, making the next film entertaining in a much different way than Branagh's version.
