Possible First Video of THE LONE RANGER Set Perhaps a Title Change |

KRQE’s pilot-reporter Bob Martin just recently conducted a flyover of a movie set being built in Puerco Valley just west of Rio Rancho. The New Mexico State Film Office would not confirm nor deny that the set is for Disney's The Lone Ranger. But industry sources have contacted KRQE, and have informed them that the sets are for The Lone Ranger.

What about this title change you speak of? Well, the Sande Alessi Casting agency has put out a call for extras and have made a major change to the title. This is what they posted on their official Facebook page, "Hi Everyone!! We are casting extras for the new Johnny Depp film "The Lone Ranger & Tonto" in Creede, Colorado and Moab, Utah and surrounding areas."
