Just before violating his probation for a 2007 weapons charge the Grammy award-winner was doing quite well. He had his new movie Takers with Paul Walker open up at the box office in first place and a new album, King Uncaged on the way. But a routine traffic stop turned up drug charges, and he was headed back to prison for 11 months.
The rapper usually boasts about his troubles with the law, but this last visit to the slammer cost him some big movie roles. He tells Sister 2 Sister Magazine, "I was supposed to be in the film Tower Heist with Ben Stiller. The Eddie Murphy movie. I was supposed to be in that. And I wasn't able, obviously, to be there.
