There was a rumor making the rounds that the Twilight star would move from one successful teen-novel series to another by starring in Hunger Games: Catching Fire. While I was initially skeptical, it seems that the rumor was indeed based on fact.
"I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent,” Pattinson, 26, told USA Today.
My agent was like, 'No,’ (laughs). (My agent) was like no one's going to offer you that part… I was like, thanks for the reassurance."
The Hunger Games was a fairly good movie and I can't say that I know what someone like Pattinson could bring to the film that it doesn't already have. Still, it's interesting to see what type of roles he's going after post Twilight.
