Roger Ebert Offers A Surprisingly Positive Review Of Captain America: The First Avenger! |

He called THOR "pitiful" and gave it 11/2 stars. X-Men: First Class? "Competent weekend entertainment" which scored a slightly better 21/2 stars. Oh, and what of Green Lantern? Surprisingly, that was awarded the same score as Fox's mutant prequel, and he, "...liked it more than Thor." So, what of Captain America: The First Avenger?! It was a pleasure to realize, once "Captain America: The First Avenger" got under way, that hey, here is a real movie, not a noisy assembly of incomprehensible special effects.
