Rogue One: The Star Wars Story has rightly garnered a lot of praise for its diverse cast, but probably the most refreshing thing about the film is how organic everything feels while watching the characters. It never seems like a big deal - these are just a bunch of people who happen to hail from different parts of the galaxy, joining forces to fight a common enemy.
To give fans an idea of why this kind of representation is so important, Diego Luna (Captain Andor) shared a letter he received from a woman who brought her Mexican father to see the movie. Luna, who was born in Mexico City, was moved by the account of the man's joy at hearing a main character in such a massive blockbuster speak with a think accent.
