Rooney Mara Being Looked At For Female Lead In Oldboy |

Twitch have broke a few Oldboy related stories in the past, including director Spike Lee and lead actor Josh Brolin's involvement so I'm inclined to believe that this is on the level.
With Josh Brolin now confirmed for the lead of Spike Lee's remake of Oldboy and the vultures circling Christian Bale for the villain role the question of the moment is who will play Brolin's daughter? And sources are telling Twitch that the actress being targeted to play the character - renamed Marie in this version of the story - is Rooney Mara.
Of course even if she is wanted for the role there is no indication that she will take it. Word is that no formal offer has even been made yet. As anyone who has seen the original film or read the Manga on which it's based will know the role is a very complex one indeed. Mara is Read more: |
