Roughly two months ago, in late April, it was revealed that the script for Marvel and Joss Whedon's highly-anticipated film The Avengers had been stolen, specifically from 'Nick Fury' actor Samuel L. Jackson. While a page from the script had been viewable, 'Thor' actor Chris Hemsworth confirmed it was just an early draft. And now, chatting briefly with the Examiner, at the Tony Awards, Jackson further addresses the mishap.
What’s been the biggest thing that’s surprised you about making "The Avengers"?
When somebody stole my script when I was in Canada and put it online. It happened back in April [2011].
Has "The Avengers" script now changed because of it was leaked online?
I can’t let fans know anything about that. I was amazed that they sent private detectives to find out what happened. So somebody’s in a lot of trouble. Not me though.
