The actress told us she would not be appearing in Iron Man 3 at the start of our interview with her and The Hulk himself, Mark Ruffalo, at The Avengers Los Angeles press event last week. Johansson did, however, pitch the idea of a Jason Bourne-esque super hero movie featuring the Black Widow character. - screenrant.com
The actress made her first appearance in the Marvel universe with Iron Man 2. Rumors and early Iron Man 3 casting calls, had most assuming she would make a return to the franchise. But, now it looks like Shane Black is staying true to his word, and is making the film much more Iron Man/Tony Stark-centric than the last. The second film was criticized for straying too far from it's leading man by focusing large portions of screen time on S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers Initiative.
