Scarlett Johansson Says Timing Is Key For That Long Rumored BLACK WIDOW Movie |

It's hard to say why Black Widow still doesn't have a movie and despite talk of it happening somewhere down the line, it doesn't have a release date as part of Phase 3. Is Marvel Studios waiting to see how Ghost in the Shell performs for Scarlett Johansson or will it be up to Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel to prove that female-led superhero movies can actually work? Ultimately, time will tell.
Talking to Total Film Magazine, Johansson explains why she thinks "timing" is key to making Black Widow a reality, adding that she's spoken to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige about making it happen. However, both the schedule of the studio and her many commitments complicates things.
