Out of all the possible characters that could debut in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Strange helmer Scott Derrickson selected the Fantastic Four as the team he wants to see introduced the most. As he prepares to work on the inevitable Doctor Strange sequel, perhaps Derrickson has a secret desire for a meeting between Marvel's preeminent scientific mind and its most brilliant sorcerer?
Out promoting the release of Doctor Strange on home video, Derrickson told ScreenRant, "I mean, there’s a lot of discussion about Moon Knight maybe coming into the MCU. I think that’s a good idea. I dunno…Actually, scratch that answer. Here’s my answer. My answer is this: I still have hope that Fantastic Four can be properly brought into the MCU because a lot of Doctor Strange – that’s the comment I read the most during that.
