Thanks to Superman Homepage and DCU Movie Page for the heads-up on this story. During a discussion panel that took place after the debut of Batman: Year One, executive producer Bruce Timm announced that next year we can expect to see a whole new variety of DC animated films based on some of the more interesting and popular comics and storylines within the DC Universe. Next year will also see Superman taking the spotlight again in an adaptation of what Timm described as Superman vs. The Elite, which fans will remembers as the "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, & American Way?" story from Action Comics #775 by Joe Kelly, Doug Mahnke and Lee Bermejo.
